HiFlyer Wrestling Minnesota State Kids/Cadet Freestyle Results
Congratulations to everyone
who participated in the Mn/USA Kids/Cadet State
Freestyle Tournament. We had 47 wrestlers participate and 33 wrestlers place, including
13 finalists and 6 state champions. Also, we had six 3rds, three 4ths, six 5ths
and five 6ths.
State Champions were: Emily Shilson, Patrick McKee, Mitchell McKee, Quinten
Berres, Tommy Thorn and Jordan Campa.
We had one weight, Midget 70, where we had two Hi Flyers in the finals (Quinten Berres and Jackson
Sweeney).
Mitchell, Quinten
and Tommy will be representing Minnesota in
the Cheesehead Duals and Jordan will be doing the same in
the Cadet Duals. I’m sure there will be others participating on those teams as
well as other teams and we will recognize them in a future update.
Remember, everyone that
wrestled at state qualifies to participate at the Northern Plains in Waterloo, Iowa
on June 15th to 17th. This is an excellent 7 state tournament and I
would highly recommend it to all Hi Flyers from the Midget division through the
Cadet age group. You must register for this tournament through the STATE
OFFICE, so get your entries in. We will be practicing on Tuesdays and
Thursdays up to the Northern Plains for everyone interested.
